Dr. Jonathan Li is an esteemed figure in the field of ophthalmology, focusing on childhood myopia control as well as refractive and cataract surgery in high myopes.
His pioneering work in the surgical realm, as well as bringing international standards of care to his myopia clinic, has positioned him as an expert in treating myopes of all ages. Dr. Li’s commitment to advancing myopia treatment is evident through his innovative research, which. focuses on clinical risk stratification and imaging to identify myopes most at risk of progression and myopic complications, as well as evaluation of novel treatments for myopia in children.

Dr. Li also brings a unique perspective to Globe Biomedical, having been the first international ophthalmologist to complete a myopia fellowship in Singapore, a nation known for its high prevalence of myopia among youths.
